Woodland Habitat Restoration Project Canceled for May 18

Due to poor air quality, the Woodland Restoration Project group will not meet.
The project group usually meets Thursdays, May thorugh July, at 6: 30 p.m., at the Hagemeister Pond Natural Area.
The project group spreads seeds; pl ants bulbs, seedlings and trees; and removes invasive species like buckthorn and garlic mustard, between the gazebo and pond.
The next gathering is May 25.
Participants should wear long sleeves, closed toed shoes, and pants. Gloves, safety glasses and tools are available. Participants are welcome to bring their own.
The EQC is a group of citizens working to improve awareness and support efforts related to environmental resources in Crystal.
