Tree Selection Inquiry
(Jersey Ave. and Idaho Ave.)
Dear Residents,
As part of the street project, residents on Jersey Ave. and Idaho Ave. can select one tree for their property. Here are the steps to take to select your tree:
1. Select a first and second choice of tree from the list below (in case your first choice becomes unavailable):
• Kentucky Coffee
• Hybrid Elm
• Buckeye
• Hackberry
• Crab Apple
• Japanese Tree Lilac
• White Oak
• Red Oak Majestic Skies
• River Birch
• Northern Catalpa
• Honey Locust
• Linden
• American Hornbeam
• Apple Tree “Haralson and Patriot”
• Pear Tree “Mount Royal”
• I do not want a tree planted
2. Email your first and second choice selection by Wednesday Oct. 22 to Bruce Brown at [email protected].
3. Bruce will contact you to help select a location near the right-of-way line and away from the curb line.
Please note: Trees must be planted a minimum of 15 feet away from the newly installed sewer and water services that were just installed. Trees will carry a one-year warranty from the date of planting.
