part of our Volunteer Habitat Restoration Program kickoff on Wednesday, April
15 at 1 p.m. at Hagemeister Pond Natural Area (Gazebo, 6427 41st Ave. N.).
Meet
Crew Leader Rachel Braaten and Recreation Director John Elholm, learn about the
area’s history and habitat, and get a look at upcoming plans to restore and
care for this natural space that include planting native species, spreading
seeds, and removing invasive plants like Buckthorn and garlic mustard.
