This past week, the contractor completed grading the yards and laying down topsoil in preparation for sod placement. Mailboxes are scheduled to be reinstalled on Monday, Aug. 17. Please set out the mailbox you would like to have installed before Monday. Sod placement is planned for Aug. 18 and 19, following the mailbox installation.

Once the sod is placed, the contractor will be responsible for watering it for 45 days. If the sod is green and healthy on the 45th day of the warranty period, it will then be the homeowner's full responsibility to water and care for it. If the sod dies within the 45-day warranty period, the contractor will be responsible for replacing it. Future weekly newsletters will provide updates, including the date when the sod officially becomes the resident’s responsibility.

Additionally, sprinkler system repairs were completed last week. If you notice any further issues with your sprinkler systems, please contact the construction observer, Lucas Gross, at the number provided.

The final layer of pavement is currently scheduled for Friday, Aug. 28, weather permitting.
If you have any questions, please contact Lucas Gross at (612) 791-8423 or via email at [email protected].

Thank you for your patience as the city works to improve the infrastructure in your neighborhood.
