This is a seasonal business! The Maple Grove Yardwaste Site is a privately owned yardwaste recycling site. The goal of the Maple Grove Yardwaste Site is to provide a convenient place for the community to recycle their yardwaste and organic matter. Everything brought to our site is 100% recycled!

Hours of OPERATION:

Open April 1 - November 30 every year

Daily Hours: Monday - Saturday: 8:00 am - 7:00 pm & Sunday: 11:00 am - 7:00 pm

Closed: Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving

Open without charge to residents of:

Maple Grove, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Dayton, Champlin, New Hope, Crystal, and Rogers (with permit)

You must have a valid picture ID. Just moved? Bring your old ID with your closing documents or a current utility bill.

This site is also open to residents of other cities and commercial customers for a fee.

Common Questions??

What cities can dispose their waste for Free?

Maple Grove, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Champlin, Dayton, New Hope, Crystal, and Rogers (with permit) are all participating cities.

However, this site is open to all residents and commercial customers for a fee.

 

Can i bring in the tree i cut down?

Brush, logs, and leaves are all accepted. Anything over 10” in diameter will be charged a fee no matter which city you are from. We do not accept stumps!

Can i bring my leaves in bags?

You can bring your materials in bags, but everything must be removed from the bags at the site and all the bags must go home with you. Biodegradable bags do not decompose at the same rate as our materials on site and are to be taken with you!

Can i bring more than one Material?

You are more than welcome to bring as many accepted materials with you, as long as they are separated. We do not accept mixed loads! Each material has its own spot for dumping.
